ROSHOLT — For the second year, Portage County residents will gather in Rosholt to support the community’s youth.

Held on Sunday, Dec. 2, Taste of Rosholt is gaining traction, and by the time of this publication, may already be sold out. It will be hosted at McZ’s Brew Pub, 178 N. Main St. in Rosholt from 4PM – 7PM.

This event highlights businesses and restaurants around the area, which will allow guests to interact with companies who support the organization. However, the main attraction is the many drink and food options served right in their backyard.

Ten sponsors have put their names in the hat for this year, and have already raised $12,000, with the goal to raise over $15,000 for the Boys & Girls Club of Portage County – Rosholt Extension youth.

“We also have 11 vendors this year, some who showcased their food last year, but we also have a few new vendors who have great food from the Rosholt area,” said Mikayla Kleifgen, Boys & Girls Club Events & Marketing Coordinator. “We have more vendors than last year, giving guests a wide variety of hors d’oeuvres to taste and enjoy.”

In addition, there will be over 40 different raffle baskets from companies around the Rosholt area for guests to have a chance to win.

Tickets can be picked up at the door, and going fast. 70 out of the 100 available have already been sold. To buy tickets online, please visit https://www.bgclubpc.org/bgc-store/-p116977251
