For the Gazette
STEVENS POINT– Wisconsin/Nicaragua Partners (W/NP) will be hosting their Annual Meeting on Saturday, Dec. 15 starting at 11am until 2:30 pm, located in Nelson Hall on the UWSP Campus.
Special guests include three Nicaraguan women who will be sharing their dynamic stories and providing updates on a variety of humanitarian projects taking place between the people of Wisconsin and Nicaragua. Especially welcome are those who are interested in learning more about Nicaragua and the many volunteer opportunities available for 2019.
Through a Thrivent Action Team, there will be no cost for first time attendees. This event is open to the public and offers opportunities to engage in conversation and sharing of cultures.
