Obituary: Harry S. Goszkowicz

Harry S. Goszkowicz, 84, of Stevens Point, died on November 17, 2018. Harry was born on May 5, 1934. He was the son of the late Joseph and Jeanette (Ostrowski) Goszkowicz. After High school Harry entered the service on July 17, 1951, in Milwaukee. He served in the Marines during the Korean War. He received the Good Conduct Medal, United Nations Medal and the Korean Service Medal with two National Defense Service Medal. He was honorably discharged on October 10, 1953. Harry worked as a Crane Operator most of his life. He enjoyed war movies and was interested in History.  He was preceded in death by his wife Sharon. Survivors include his son; John and grandchildren; John Jr. and Cheyenne. Sister; Jeanette (Goszkowicz) Bystra.  He is further survived by many nieces and nephews.

Special thanks to his nephew Bob Goszkowicz and Bob’s wife Deanna for the wonderful care they provided Uncle Harry in his later years. The family would also like to thank the staff at Maple Ridge Memory Care of Plover and Ministry Hospice of Stevens Point for the loving care they provided. Private Family services were held.
