County Officials announce opening of downhill ski area for season

PORTAGE COUNTY — Portage County Parks will open its downhill ski area for the season on Dec. 26.
On opening day, Active Portage County will be sponsoring a free ski day. All passes and rental fees for downhill, x/c, and snowshoeing will be waived. Please be advised there are limited supply of rentals available.
From Dec. 27 through Jan. 1, the ski tows will operate from 11:00 A.M until 4:00 P.M. every day. Regular fees will apply.
After January 1, the ski hill will be open on Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00 A.M until 4:00 P.M.
