Charles Thomas Hansen, it is with a heavy heart that Bonnie had to say good bye to her best friend, her soulmate, the love of her life Charley. Charley, age 60, died unexpectedly on December 9th 2018 from an abdominal aortic aneurysm at Aspirus Hospital in Wausau, WI.

Charley was born on November 13th 1958 in Stevens Point, WI to the late Carole M. Hansen. He was a SPASH graduate and married the love of his life on July 13th 1985. He was employed at Ore-Ida/McCain Foods for the past 27 years. His position at the time of his death was a P1 Fryer Operator where he was known for his excellence in First Time Quality. He was an easy going, kind hearted man who always went out of his way to help others. He will be remembered for his love of casino road trips, the Brewers, Packers and the Badgers. He also had a great love of music.

Charley is survived by his wife Bonnie of 33 years and their dog CoCo; His siblings Allen (Sharon) Hansen, Clint “Keith” (Dawn) Hansen, Catherine (Jon) Sosnowski, Mark (Carolynn) Hansen, Cassandra Ryckmann, Aunt Florence Andersen, brother-in -law Mike Koback, brother-in-law Greg (Jen) Koback, sister-in-law Chris (Joe) Fischer, sister-in-law Brenda (Johann) Varga, brother-in-law Kim (Jodie) Koback, sister-in-law Peggy (Scott) King and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother Carole Hansen, sisters Sherry and Debbie, niece Becci, cousins Craig and Curt Andersen, mother-in-law and father-in-law Jan and Erv Koback, his beloved dogs Spike, Buck and Lady.

A private family service was held on Thursday December 13th 2018.

Charley never liked saying the words “good bye” instead he would always say “Later XOXO”

The family would like to thank the staff at Shuda Funeral Home for their compassionate care given to all of us during this difficult time.

Memorials and online condolences can be sent to Shuda Funeral Home – 3200 Stanley St, Stevens Point – www.shudafuneral.com
