PHOTOS: Knights of Columbus hold annual nativity lighting

PLOVER — The Knights of Columbus had their annual lighting of the Nativity on Wednesday, Dec. 5 at St. Bronislava Church.
The Knights of Columbus hold such an event worldwide every year in preparation for Christmas. Approximately 100 kids and family members were present.
Village administrator Dan Mahoney provided opening comments followed by Father Ed Shuttleworth, parish pastor, who talked about the significance of the nativity and provided the blessing at its lighting.
Knights of Columbus from Plover 13880 and Stevens Point 1170 presided.
Several Christmas carols were sung with hot chocolate and brownies provided after for all.
