Packers fans raise more money than Bears fans in Red Kettle Challenge

STEVENS POINT — In the Red Kettle Challenge, Packers fans took home a victory by raising more money than Bears fans last week.
In total, Packers fans collected: $3,671.41 — while Bears fans collected: $1,457.47. The total amount raised ended up at $5128.88.
Bears fans collected 39.6 percent of the total, but needed to get to 40 percent to claim victory. They were about $15 short.
However, Bears fans can take solace though with the results on the field Sunday, where their team clinched the NFC North title by defeating the Packers 24-17.
The Red Kettle Campaign in Portage County runs through Saturday, December 24th at 8:00 PM. The goal of this year’s campaign is $200,000. More than 1,790 shifts are scheduled for this year’s campaign.
