Ryan Ramczyk

Stevens Point native and former Stevens Point Area Senior High School (SPASH) standout Ryan Ramczyk of the New Orleans Saints was named to the 2018 Associated Press NFL All-Pro Team, which honors the best NFL players on offense, defense and special teams each season.

A second-year pro, Ramczyk was named Second Team All-Pro at right tackle, as Mitchell Schwartz of the Kansas City Chiefs was voted First Team All-Pro at right tackle.

A first round draft pick of the New Orleans Saints in the 2017 NFL Draft after he spent two seasons at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and one season at the University of Wisconsin, Ramczyk helped the Saints win the NFC South Title this season with a 13-3 record and earn the top seed in the NFC Playoffs.

Ramczyk started all 15 games he played in this season and was ranked by Pro Football Focus as the sixth-best offensive tackle in the NFL.

The Saints are set to host the sixth-seeded and defending Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles at 3:40 p.m. Central Sunday, Jan. 13, in a game that will be broadcast on Fox.

The winner will take on either the second-seeded Los Angeles Rams or fourth-seeded Dallas Cowboys in the NFC Championship Game Sunday, Jan. 20.
