Thursday, Jan. 10

Hops and Hymns – 6:30 p.m.
-Series starts Jan. 10 at Faith and North New Hope Lutheran Church in Rosholt.

Friday, Jan. 11

Free Family Movie Night at the YMCA – 6:45 a.m.
-Free movie event for families featuring the hit kid’s film Trolls, held at 1000 Division St.

Paint Party at Opi’s Sports Bar and Grill – 6:30 p.m.
-Step-by-step instructional painting class held at Opi’s, located at 1960 Post Rd. $25 admission.

Rookies Comedy Night – 7 p.m.
-Headliner Keith Lenart and other comedians come to Rookies in Stevens Point for a night of laughs.

Saturday, Jan. 12

Citizens Climate Lobby, Stevens Point Chapter – 11:15 a.m.
-Will hold its monthly meeting at 11:15 AM at Frame Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall, 1300 Main Street in Stevens Piont. New members always welcome.

Bryanna Banx$ & Friends Drag Show – 10 p.m.
-Talented drag queens from across the state make their way to Main Street Taps on Jan. 12. There is a $5 cover charge for the event.

Rosholt Blizzard Busters Fisheree and Raffle – 10 a.m.
-Held at Lake Helen, 3204 Lake Helen Rd. in Rosholt, this event will have fish prizes in every category for children and adults. Participation is free.

Gigi’s Playhouse Fundraiser – 3 p.m.
-Down Syndrome awareness event with family karaoke and prizes, located at the Moose Family Center.

Sunday, Jan. 13
Live Music: The Oxleys – 12 p.m.
-Wind down your Sunday with this talented group at Emy J’s, 1009 First St.

Tuesday, Jan. 15

UWSP Women’s Hockey vs. St. Norbert College – 7 p.m.
-College sports event held at the Ice Hawks Arena in Stevens Point.

Main Street Taps presents Clinton Miller Acoustic – 7 p.m.
-Live acoustic music performance at Main Street Taps.

Wednesday, Jan. 16

UWSP Men’s Basketball vs. UW-La Crosse – 7 p.m.
-College basketball game held at Bennett Court at Quandt Fieldhouse.

Thursday, Jan. 17

UWSP Wrestling vs. UW-Parkside – 7 p.m.
-Local college wrestling match located at Berg Gym in Stevens Point.

Central Waters Maple Barrel Stout Tapping – 5 p.m.
-The brewery will be tapping a barrel of the very limited Central Waters Maple Barrel Stout, also featuring a giveaway event.

Design and Create 4U Wood Sign Workshop – 6 p.m.
-Instructional class on how to make decorative wood signs, located at Judah Studios in Nelsonville. $45 dollar admission.

Friday, Jan. 18

Men’s Hockey vs. UW-Eau Claire: Rock ‘N’ Roll Night sponsored by Rock ‘N’ Roll Cafe – 7 p.m.
-College sports event held at KB Willett Arena, sponsored by the local eatery, Rock ‘N’ Roll Cafe.

Passport to Paradise at Sentry – 7 p.m.
-Charitable dining event held at SentryWorld Sports Center to support both the Boys & Girls Club of Portage County and the Portage County YMCA. $25 advanced admission.

Saturday, Jan. 19

Cocktail Party – 6 p.m.
-Live musical performance and drinks at Sunset Point Winery in Stevens Point.

Main Street Taps presents Irene’s Garden – 10 p.m.
-Live music at Main Street Taps, in downtown Stevens Point.

Upcycled Home Decor Workshop – 10 a.m.
-Instructional class on how to repurpose items and create beautiful home decor, all supplies included, held at Judah Studios in Nelsonville. $50 admission.

LJ Booth and Chris Kokesh – 7:30 p.m.
-Catch this duo at the Jensen Community Center, 487 N. Main St in Amherst. Admission is $15.

Sunday, Jan. 20

It’s Showtime Cheer and Dance Spectacular – 9 a.m.
-College event located at UWSP Quandt Field House featuring the UWSP cheer team.

Sunset Point Pour & Paint – 1 p.m.
-A night of wine and relaxing painting held at Sunset Point Winery. $45 admission.

Tattoos For Triumph – 10 a.m.
-Charitable tattoo event held at the Stevens Point Holiday Inn Convention Center to raise awareness for human trafficking issues.
