Dale A. Dominick, age 47, of Marshfield, WI died on January 9, 2019 at Marshfield Medical Center.

He was born November 8, 1971 to the late Donald & Diana (Lake) Dominick. He grew up in the Central WI area where he attended McKinley Elementary School, Ben Franklin Junior High School and graduated from Almond-Bancroft High School.

Dale was a jack of all trades. In his earlier years he worked numerous jobs until he eventually found steady work as a DJ. His interest in radio led him to attend UW Oshkosh, focusing in communications, before returning to the Stevens Point area. Dale worked as a part time DJ for WYTE and Magic 105. He again worked several jobs and volunteered as a first responder, which sparked his further interest in the field of fire/medical emergency management. Dale worked throughout Portage County as a first responder. He was a former member of the Spirit Medical Transport family. Dale worked for Spirit for three and a half years at the Marshfield, Stevens Point and Weston bases. He was also a member of the Marshfield Fire Dept. and worked as a firefighter/paramedic for the city of Marshfield until 2009. He then decided to take a full-time paramedic instructor position at Mid-State Technical College. As of late, Dale worked Marshfield Clinic in the GI department.

Dale had a passion for helping others. He was active within the EMS community and truly loved the field. He was also a great teacher and enjoyed helping work associates and students understand the principals and skills of first response. Dale will be remembered for his big smile, hearty laugh, and social personality. He was a kind person, always helping others. His love for music was reverenced; Dale was the one of the original bass players for the Spicy Tie Band. -Dale loved his family. He considered them to be his better half.

Dale married Shannon Cerney. They later separated.

Survivors include his children, Logan & Addison; brothers, Donny “Duck” (Vicky) Dominick and Ronald Dominick; nieces, Monica & Ami; nephew, Christopher; and numerous cousins and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jeffrey; and extended family.

A Funeral Service to celebrate his life will be held 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at Boston Funeral Home in Stevens Point. Rev. Preston Tippen will officiate. A Visitation and time of sharing memories will precede on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established in Dale’s name at a later date.
