Obituary: Catherine Ziolkowski

Catherine Ziolkowski age 93, formerly of Stevens Point, passed away January 8, 2019 at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center in Manitowoc,WI. She had been residing at Azura Memory Care in

Manitowoc the past several months. Before that she lived with her daughter Pat, in Fort Worth, Tx and then with her son Ron, in Manitowoc, WI.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Catherine will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday January 19, 2019 at St. Peter Catholic Church. Rev. Arul Joseph V. will officiate. Friends and relatives will gather to share memories from 9:00 – 10:45 AM at the St. Faustina room of St. Peters Church. Burial will be in the Guardian Angel Cemetery. Shuda Funeral Service is assisting the family.
Catherine was born March 18, 1925 in Stevens Point, the daughter of Loddie and Maimi (Kieliszewski) Rosenthal. She graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School in 1943. Catherine married Myron Ziolkowski on May 3, 1947 at St. Peter Catholic Church. They settled at 410 Franklin St. and raised their family. Catherine enjoyed the nature and scenery of the Wisconsin River, reading magazines, and the company of her small dogs.

She is survived by her two children: Pat (Eddie) Ho, Fort Worth, TX; Ron Ziolkowski and (special friend, Elaine Laverenz), Manitowoc. Daughter-in-law Lynn Ziolkowski, Stevens Point, 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Two brothers: Jack and Larry (Martha) Rosenthal, both of Stevens Point.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Myron in 2005, their daughter Karen and son Gerald.
