Thursday, Jan. 17

UWSP Wrestling vs. UW-Parkside – 7 p.m.
-Local college wrestling match located at Berg Gym in Stevens Point.

Central Waters Maple Barrel Stout Tapping – 5 p.m.
-The brewery will be tapping a barrel of the very limited Central Waters Maple Barrel Stout, also featuring a giveaway event.

Design and Create 4U Wood Sign Workshop – 6 p.m.
-Instructional class on how to make decorative wood signs, located at Judah Studios in Nelsonville. $45 dollar admission.

Friday, Jan. 18

Men’s Hockey vs. UW-Eau Claire: Rock ‘N’ Roll Night sponsored by Rock ‘N’ Roll Cafe – 7 p.m.
-College sports event held at KB Willett Arena, sponsored by the local eatery, Rock ‘N’ Roll Cafe.

Passport to Paradise at Sentry – 7 p.m.
-Charitable dining event held at SentryWorld Sports Center to support both the Boys & Girls Club of Portage County and the Portage County YMCA. $25 advanced admission.

Frozen Meeple (Jan. 18-19) – 9AM
-Presented by Meeplestock, Gamers Who Care. Held at 155 Devonshire Court in Plover. Tickets are $20.

Saturday, Jan. 19

Cocktail Party – 6 p.m.
-Live musical performance and drinks at Sunset Point Winery in Stevens Point.

Main Street Taps presents Irene’s Garden – 10 p.m.
-Live music at Main Street Taps, in downtown Stevens Point.

Upcycled Home Decor Workshop – 10 a.m.
-Instructional class on how to repurpose items and create beautiful home decor, all supplies included, held at Judah Studios in Nelsonville. $50 admission.

LJ Booth and Chris Kokesh – 7:30 p.m.
-Catch this duo at the Jensen Community Center, 487 N. Main St in Amherst. Admission is $15.

Sunday, Jan. 20

It’s Showtime Cheer and Dance Spectacular – 9 a.m.
-College event located at UWSP Quandt Field House featuring the UWSP cheer team.

Sunset Point Pour & Paint – 1 p.m.
-A night of wine and relaxing painting held at Sunset Point Winery. $45 admission.

Tattoos For Triumph – 10 a.m.
-Charitable tattoo event held at the Stevens Point Holiday Inn Convention Center to raise awareness for human trafficking issues.

Monday, Jan. 21

Martin Luther King Jr. Day – 7PM
-Join this annual celebration held at Stevens Point Area Senior High School, 1201 Northpoint Dr.

Thursday, Jan. 24

Live Music: The Kommissioners – 6PM
-The Kommissioners play PJ’s as a part of their “PJ’s Live” series. This event is located at 601 N. Michigan Ave.

Friday, Jan. 25

Girls Night Out Slumber Party Overnighter (Jan. 25-26) – 8PM
-Join the YMCA slumber party; girls only. Tickets are $25; $20 for Y members. Located at 1000 Division St.

Live Music: Joe G – 8PM
-Joe G returns to the Elbow Room, 1321 Second St.

Saturday, Jan. 26

O’sos Winter Release – 12PM
-Held at O’so Brewing Taphouse, 3028 Village Park Dr., don’t miss out on this barrel-aged beer.

Make a Memory Workshop – 10AM
-Turn one of your favorite t-shirts into a work of art. Admission is $40. Located at Judah Studios, 9489 First St., Nelsonville.

Central Wisconsin Wedding Fashion Show (Jan. 26-27) 10AM
-Over 100 statewide exhibitors fill SentryWorld Sports Center for this annual wedding event. Tickets are $10.

Sunday, Jan. 27

Portage County Walk For Life on Sunday – 2PM
-The walk starts outside of the Portage County Courthouse, 1516 Church St.

Free Polka Sunday with Richie Yurkovich – 2PM
-Enjoy an afternoon of polka at the Lettie Jensen Community Center, 487 N. Main St. in Amherst.
