Letter: The president must be held to a higher standard

To the Editor:

In my opinion the President of the United States, must be held to a higher standard. A President must be, Honorable, Moral, Honest, Truthful, Humble among other needed traits. He needs to be ever mindful of his status and position. His berating of people who oppose him, are women, have worked for him, are minorities, leaders of other countries in my opinion, is just showing the world that he is petty, disrespectful, self important.

Taking to social media to call down people is not the actions of a President. Calling the Leader of North Korea, Lil Rocket man  in my opinion is demeaning and rude, and disrespectful.  A president must have respect for his counter parts in other countries around the world. No matter if they are opposed to us or allied with us. A President should not by action or word, threat or example become a national security risk.

It is my opinion that by causing by actions or inaction the Federal Government to be shut down, does just that. Airports no longer are being watched by TSA agents causing Security Risks to our country as a whole. Causing the federal employees not to be able to earn a wage. That threatens their individual safeties and livelihoods. I suggest that in order to make America Great Again, we start by removing Donald J. Trump from office. Even though I voted for him, I regret that he did not respect the office of President of the United States of America. Which I served Proudly for. I served Proudly for my Commander and Chief: Ronald Reagan.
