Highlights and post-game interview with junior guard Ethan Bublitz and senior forward Canon O’Heron from the ninth-ranked UWSP men’s basketball team’s last-second loss to UW-Platteville at Bennett Court at Quandt Fieldhouse Saturday, Jan. 19.

In a battle of Sweet 16 teams from a year ago, the Pointers (11-5) rallied from a 13-point, first-half deficit and took a 60-59 lead with 7.1 seconds left on a basket in the lane from Bublitz. However, reigning WIAC Champion Platteville followed a missed shot with a put-back dunk with two seconds left to win 61-60.

Bublitz finished with 21 points and six rebounds, O’Heron scored 19 points, and senior guard Nate Dodge had 12 points, five rebounds and four steals to lead UWSP.
