Jan. 17

At 1:16 a.m. authorities forcefully removed a male suspect from a bar on the 2600 block of Stanley Street.

At 10:57 a.m. a caller reported a disturbance in the Clark Street area.

No. of accidents reported: 1

Jan. 18

At 2:39 a.m. police arrested a male suspect during a routine traffic stop for possession of prescription pills, methamphetamines, paraphernalia, and bail jumping, and cited him for his first OWI near the Briggs and Rogers Street area.

At 9:53 a.m. witnesses reported a female suspect causing a disturbance on the 1300 block of Fourth Avenue, leading to an arrest.

At 2:45 p.m. officers reported an inattentive driver causing a crash and operating a vehicle without insurance near Highway 10.

Jan. 19

At 2:55 a.m. a caller reported a suspicious phone call in the Stevens Point area.

At 7:45 a.m. police charged a driver for deviating from the designated lanes and operating a vehicle without insurance near Highway 10.

At 10:50 p.m. officers charged a male suspect for operating a non-registered vehicle with a revoked license and without insurance, and also possession of THC, near Michigan Avenue.

Jan. 20

At 1:52 a.m. authorities broke up a disturbance between a male and female. Police arrested the male suspect for disorderly conduct and resisting an officer.

At 8:25 p.m. a witness reported two suspicious male suspects loitering around an ATM on the 3200 block of Church Street.

At 10:42 p.m. police arrested a male suspect after a car chase ensued near Maria Drive and Division Street. Officers charged the suspect with fleeing police, a hit-and-run, and possession of THC, along with his first OWI.

Jan. 21

At 5:32 a.m. a caller reported two male suspects, one in a wheelchair, trespassing, and sleeping in a locked building on the 1200 block of Second Street.

At 11:50 a.m. a driver illegally parked a trailer in a local parking lot in Stevens Point overnight.

At 4:21 p.m. a caller reported a case of harassment to police in the Stevens Point area.

No. of accidents reported: 4

Jan. 22

At 2:53 p.m. authorities looked into a male suspect making harassing messages towards individuals and a congregation in Portage County.

At 10:56 a.m. a witness informed police of a male suspect driving off without paying for his gas near Main Street, the suspect is thought to be an ex-employee of the establishment.

At 5:34 p.m. a female victim reported to police that a male suspect was threatening to post unwanted info and photos online in Stevens Point.
