“We are receiving predictions from the National Weather Service of wind chill temperatures reaching -30°F by Tuesday evening, approaching -50°F on Wednesday morning and -45°F on Thursday morning. If these predictions are accurate, our area will be under a Wind Chill Warning and the following cancellations MAY take place as safety precautions:”
The email would go on to mention the possible cancellation of all after school activities on Tuesday, cancellation of school and all after school activities on Wednesday, and cancellation of school and after school activities on Thursday.
“It is our intent to have school tomorrow, however, we will continue to monitor road conditions this evening and into tomorrow morning to assess our ability to safely transport students.”
