Jan. 24

At 12:31 a.m. a caller accidentally placed a 911 call via an Apple Watch in Stevens Point, events like this involving smartwatches have been on the rise.

At 3:05 p.m. a victim reported a stolen computer to police near the Illinois Avenue area.

At 6:33 p.m. a caller reported a suspicious vehicle/person to authorities on the 2100 block of Oak Street.

Jan. 25

At 4:19 a.m. police arrested a driver for operating a vehicle while intoxicated and driving with a revoked license. Authorities also cited the suspect for reckless driving and possession of open intoxicants. Authorities arrested the passenger for a probation violation.

At 1:39 p.m. a walk-in witness reported an assault that took place on Main Street.

At 6:45 p.m. authorities cited a male suspect for possession of THC and possession of paraphernalia during a routine traffic stop for a missing headlight.

Jan. 26

At 1:14 a.m. officers arrested a male suspect for his first OWI offense near the Franklin and Meadow Street area.

At 2:45 a.m. police arrested a male suspect for his second OWI, violating a red light and operating a vehicle without proof of insurance near the Park Ridge Drive area.

At 8:09 p.m. a caller reported an unknown suspect who made a PayPal account with their Social Security number in Stevens Point.

Jan. 27

At 12:10 a.m. a female victim reported a known intoxicated male suspect in her home. Police arrested the suspect for disorderly conduct.

At 1:44 p.m. police cited a suspect for retail theft over $50 near HWY 10 E.

At 7:56 p.m. officers arrested an intoxicated male suspect for discharging bodily fluids at public safety workers, resisting an officer, disorderly conduct and probation violation on the 1600 block of Briggs Street.

Jan. 28

At 12:41 p.m. authorities cited a male suspect for disorderly conduct after causing a scene, throwing products and swearing at employees at a store near the Academy Avenue area.

At 8:06 a.m. a caller made a fraud complaint to police on the 5100 block of Main Street.

No. of accidents reported: 8

Jan. 29

At 8:54 a.m. a crash led to police citing a driver with operating a vehicle without proof of insurance and driving a non-registered vehicle.

At 4:06 p.m. a caller informed police of a harassment case near the Michigan Avenue area.

No. of accidents reported: 7
