Portage County Sheriff’s Office Brings Lifesaving Technology to Portage County via PulsePoint, a 9-1-1 Integrated Mobile App
PORTAGE COUNTY — The Portage County Sheriff’s Office-EMS Division, along with the Portage County Sheriff’s Office Communications Center and Mid-State Technical College, are proud to announce our participation in PulsePoint, a free mobile app designed to alert users of nearby cardiac arrest victims and locations of automated external defibrillators (AEDs).
Other features include a real-time view into dispatch and increasing community awareness of emergent events. This will give citizens the opportunity to provide critical life-saving aid in nearby situations they may not otherwise be aware of.
Please join us on Monday, Feb. 11, at 10:00 a.m. at the Portage County Annex Building for the formal launch of this exciting new program.
