Thursday, Feb. 21

Drive-in Movie Event – 10:30 a.m.
-Free family event at the Almond Branch Library. Kids create a “cardboard car” and “drive” to watch a movie in the library.

Ignite 7th Anniversary – 6 p.m.
-Ignite’s 7th-anniversary celebration held at [a-soshel], located at 3056 Village Park Dr., Plover. Check online for more info.

PJ’s Live – Feedback – 6 p.m.
-Come out for live music, good food and drinks inside the beautiful PJ’s Restaurant, located at 601 N Michigan Ave., Stevens Point.

Friday, Feb. 22

Bowl For Kids’ Sake 2019 – Feb. 22 – Feb. 23
-Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Central Wisconsin bowling program held at Skipp’s Bowling
Center.

Standing Rocks Free Ski Day – 11 a.m.
-Learn to ski at this free downhill skiing event with free rentals at Standing Rocks, presented by Divepoint, Dr. Ralph and Marcia Locher, and Griff and Dorothy Williams.

Saturday, Feb. 23

Badger State Pickleball – Feb. 23 – Feb. 24
-Badger State Pickleball Tournament at the SentryWorld Sports Complex. Check online for more info and to register.

Beginning Acrylic Painting with Kevin – 10 a.m.
-Instructional painting class held at Judah Studios in Nelsonville. Tickets are $40 and include supplies and refreshments.

Hypnotist Steven Stone – 8 p.m.
-Come see renown Hypnotist Steven Stone at the UW-Stevens Point campus as he performs a mesmerizing show. Located at the Encore in the Dreyfus University Center.

League of Women Voters Presents: Role of Media in Democracy – 9:30 a.m.
-Held at Plover Municipal Center, 2400 Plover Rd. (Note: An error in last week’s edition incorrectly listed the time as 9:30 p.m. The correct time is now reflected)

Bar Olympics & Chili Cook-Off – 2PM
-Hosted by the Family Moose Center 1572, bars from the northside will bring their best to this competition. Games will feature darts, pool, beer pong, corn hole and flip cup. Located at 1025 Second St. North.

Sunday, Feb. 24

Breakfast at Knights of Columbus Clubhouse in Stevens Point – 8:15 a.m.
-All you can eat breakfast featuring ham, sausage, scrambled eggs, fresh home fried red potatoes and more. Adult tickets are $6.50. Children tickets are $4. Children under 6 eat free.

SPCC KidsCurl – 1 p.m.
-Third annual kids curling program, designed for children ages 6-9 to introduce them to the sport of curling. Space may be limited. Hosted by the Stevens Point Curling Club.

Monday, Feb. 25

“You, Only Better” Health Fair – 3 p.m.
-Come improve the quality of your life at this free, wellness-based event located at the Holiday Inn Convention Center in Stevens Point.

Live Music: Carrie Nation and the Speakeasy – 10 p.m.
-Rock out with friends at the Brickhause Tavern, located at 1343 2nd St.

Tuesday, Feb. 26

Galynne Goodwill at Main Street Taps – 7 p.m.
-Acoustic based musical performance held at Main Street Taps.

Written Off: Showing Event – 6:30 p.m.
-Free award-winning film screening with post-movie discussion panel at the UW-Stevens Point Dreyfus Center.

Wednesday, Feb. 27

Comedian Jeff Zenisek Live – 9 p.m.
-Laugh the evening away with comic Jeff Zenisek at the Encore at UW-Stevens Point. Free to students, $5 entry fee for the public.

Friday, Mar. 1

Free Family Movie Night at the YMCA – 6:45 p.m.
-Enjoy the Disney film, the Incredibles: 2 on the big screen with snacks at the Stevens Point YMCA. Free to the public.

Goodland and Bottom of the Lake at UW-Stevens Point – 8 p.m.
-Come and witness local rockers as they take the stage at the UW-Stevens Point Dreyfus stage.

Taste of Wisconsin – 7 p.m.

-Enjoy samples from Wisconsin’s finest cheese, wine and food vendors at this 21+ event, held at at the UW-Stevens Point Laird Room. Check online for more info.

Saturday, Mar. 2

Beekeeping Workshop – 9 a.m.
-Informational beekeeping seminar with Buzz Vahradian of V’s Bees, located at the Central Rivers Farmshed. $50 general admission.

Main Street Taps presents Gin Mill Hollow – 10 p.m.
-Come enjoy live music in a great atmosphere at Main Street Taps in Stevens Point.

Point Bock Run – noon
-Join in for the annual 5-mile run and festive after-party, held at Point Brewery.
