STEVENS POINT — Law enforcement have urged caution for drivers on what is already slippery Portage County roads.
According to the National Weather Service out of Green Bay, 2-4 inches of snow is expected to accumulate as the area will continue to be hit by wintry conditions through the evening. This will likely continue through Wednesday morning.
On social media, Stevens Point police have urged drivers to slow down in these icy conditions via Facebook.
“This is not a joke, Here we go again. Roads are already very slippery. Slow down and take extra time getting to where you need to go.”
