STEVENS POINT — The National Weather Service (NWS) forecast predicts dangerous road conditions and continued snow for the remainder of the week in central Wisconsin as the state crawls through yet another winter weather advisory.
Drivers are reminded to give other motorists space while commuting due to the possibility of ice.
More snow is expected to fall on Feb. 27 and March 1, according to NWS reports. Up to an additional 2 inches could accumulate from the projected snowfalls. The coming storms may be less brutalizing than prior February blizzards, but hazardous conditions may still occur. Drivers are advised to take critical weather conditions into account when leaving home.
