P.E.O. Chapter honors Pam Jewell, 2019 Builder of the Year award winner

STEVENS POINT — P.E.O. Chapter EM of Stevens Point is proud to announce Pam Jewell, one of our chapter members, has recently received a prestigious state honor.
Jewell was the recipient of the 2019 Builder of the Year award given by the Wisconsin Builders Association (WBA). This is the highest honor a builder member can receive and is given yearly to a nominee that is judged on their professionalism as well as their activity with the WBA, the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and their own community.
Within her community Jewell has served in leadership positions on many boards and committees. She has held several volunteer positions within the Portage County United Way (PCUW). She has served on varied committees and officer positions including past President and chaired the PCUW annual fundraising campaign with her family in 2017. She was past President of the Portage County Business Council and a recent past President of the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point Foundation Board. She held many volunteer opportunities in her hometown including PTA President, area foundation President, and involvement with groups ranging from art festivals to quilter’s groups.
