Letter: Nebel sees the value of careful planning for the future

To the Editor:

I would like to urge the residents of District 3 to re-elect Cindy Nebel for Alderperson.

I have known Cindy since 1980 when we moved into my husband’s family home.  Since that time our neighborhood has slowly changed as the residents have aged and houses have changed hands. During this process, Cindy always had an eye on what was good for the neighborhood and not just a few neighbors.  Many of the residents have sought her advice over the years on problems they have encountered and Cindy has always found the answers to their questions.  In many cases it came down to just understanding what the ordinances are and how they are enforced.  With the encouragement of others in the district, Cindy ran for the aldermanic position and won.

During Cindy’s tenure on the city council I have seen her vision grow from one focused primarily on our neighborhood to considering the needs of the city, and most importantly its residents, as a whole.  She sees the value of careful planning for the future while preserving the charm of the past.

I support Cindy Nebel as Alderperson of District 3 because I have seen first hand how much she cares, how hard she works and how devoted she is to this city we call home.
