Letter: Vote Cindy Nebel for District alder

To the Editor:
When you need a good neighbor, Cindy Nebel is near.
When District 3 again chooses an alderperson in whom they can trust to hear their many voices and to whom they may rely upon to make wise thoughtful decisions, we encourage you to look to Cindy Nebel. She has displayed the willingness and ability to promote safety and peace for our neighbors, share our concerns while protecting our interests, and to works towards maintaining sustainable growth in Stevens Point.
Cindy has always sought to educate and share important information in a friendly manner that we may all be able to live harmoniously within our diverse population. We need people like Cindy as our alderperson who is able to build strong bridges between diverging factions to achieve a greater community.
Cindy has addressed and attended to many practical matters: better street lighting and signage improving our security and safety, acquiring boxes containing sand/salt to make it easier for residents and pedestrians to reduce the risk of injury, pursued productive personal relations with students, police department, UWSP, and other city representatives in order to improve the livability and quality of District 3’s unique neighborhoods.
Perhaps, with more alderpersons such as Cindy Nebel displaying her nearly 40 years of care and concern for our neighborhood, her practical considerations and knowledge and her desire to personally improve circumstances for those who reside long-term as well as welcomed short-term, we can make living in the 3rd District and Stevens Point a pleasure and an honor.
