Amherst Music Department presents the musical “Seussical” April 11 through April 14

AMHERST — Based on the works of Dr. Seuss, music by Stephen Flaherty and lyrics by Lynn Ahrens, “Seussical” is a full-length book musical, with a story which weaves together his most famous tales and characters in unexpected ways.
In the course of this musical, some of Dr. Seuss’s best-loved and most familiar characters will fall in love, some will have desperate adventures and some will save the world. And they’ll all travel everywhere from the Jungle of Nool to McEligott’s Pool to Palm Beach. Performance times will be April 11, 12, 13, 14 at 7:00 p.m. and April 14 at 2:00 p.m. All performances will be held at the Lettie Jensen Community Center Theater. Ticket prices are as follows: Adult/Senior: $10.00, Student: $8.00. Children four years and under will be free on adult’s lap.
