A total of five players from the Panthers rugby team and one coach were chosen to be part of the Badger Select Team that played at Lindenwood University in Missouri March 16-17.
Players included Grace Smith Ellie Villnow, Haley Ullom, Emily Mathys and Joliet Martinez. Coach Tim Wandtke was part of the Badger Select Coaching staff.
The Badger Select Team is an invitation only squad for girls interested in playing rugby at a select level, and is a pathway to high-level rugby. This team is designed to highlight talented ruggers to reach for a higher level of play.
