STEVENS POINT — The Aging and Disability Resource Center of Portage County (ADRC) at Lincoln Center, 1519 Water Street, Stevens Point, is hosting an Earth Day Informational Fair on Monday, April 22 at 11 a.m.

The event is hosted in partnership with Farmshed, Rising Sand Organics, Whitefeather Organics, Okray Family Farms and Giving Garden. The fair will provide information about the ADRC Nutrition Program, gardening, and includes a local farmer recognition and door prize giveaway. The event is free and open to the public.

Farmers and organizations will talk about local and sustainable foods. A meal featuring local produce will follow at noon. The cost for people age 60 and over is by donation (suggested donation is $4.00); the cost for people under age 60 is $8.25. At 1 p.m., there will be a free screening of ‘Bee Movie,’ highlighting environmental issues from a cartoon bee’s point of view.

Please contact the ADRC at 715-346-1401 or toll free, 1-866-920-2525 to make reservations for the lunch no later than noon on Thursday, April 18.
