Council decides on various board and committee chairs

STEVENS POINT — A city council meeting was held on Tuesday, April 16 to elect members to various boards and committees.

This includes the re-election of Council President and District 5 Alderperson Meleesa Johnson, who was elected by a 6-3 vote over District 10 Alderperson Mike Phillips. The rest of voted positions, as well as all positions appointed by the mayor are below.

Public Protection Vice Chair: Mike Phillips
Personnel Committee Chair: David Shorr
Personnel Committee Vice Chair: Cathy Dugan
Finance Chair: Mike Phillips
