Plover Trustee Anton Anday departs from local government after four years

PLOVER — Plover Village Board officials thanked Ward 2 Trustee Anton Anday for his devoted services as he departs from the local government during Wednesday night’s board meeting.
Anday served on the board from 2015-2019.
“With sincere appreciation and gratitude to Anton Anday, who has served as a trustee of the Village Board of Plover for the past four years, during which time he served as a member of the administrative personnel, negotiation, water-wastewater utilities, Springville Pond management, and community development committees,” said Village President Tom Davies.
“And has throughout these four years devoted his time to the betterment of the residents of the Village of Plover through his efforts and energy to provide planned, controlled growth and the continued provision of quality services by the Village of Plover. Therefore, the village board and the village staff express their sincere gratitude and appreciation to Anton Anday.”
Officials commemorated Anday’s diligent work with a plaque presented by Davies. Village Administrator Dan Mahoney encouraged Anday to take his nameplate, used at nearly every meeting, as a keepsake of his time on the board.
Village staff expressed their best wishes to Anday on his future endeavors, noting his successful efforts in maintaining economic growth and financial stability in the village. Anday’s term on the board officially ends this April.
