Ebel, Portzen and Vang take ceremonial oath of office

STEVENS POINT — Stevens Point School District Superintendent Craig Gerlach performed the ceremonial oath of office, swearing-in Jeffery Ebel, Barbara Portzen and newcomer Ann Vang to the school board at the Organizational School Board meeting on April 22.
“Congratulations, and welcome,” Gerlach said to the members after the oath.
The public elected the three members during the April 2 vote to serve three-year terms on the board. Ebel and Portzen have served in the district before, but this is Vang’s first experience on the board.
