STEVENS POINT — Stevens Point Area Public School District board members elected a board president, vice president, clerk, treasurer and secretary at the Organizational School Board meeting on April 22.

Meg Erler was unanimously elected as president of the board by her peers for another year, with Chris Scott also remaining vice president for another term, beating Amy Dailey 6-2 in a board vote.

Barbara Portzen, clerk, Heidi O’Brien, board secretary, and Dailey, treasurer, were all unanimously elected by their peers for their respective seats during the appointment process.

Board members selected Portzen as chair of the Educational Services Committee, and Dailey will serve as chair of the Business Services and Human Resources Committee.
