Drew H. Gordon, age 25, of Stevens Point, WI died unexpectedly at home on April 28, 2019.

Drew was born on February 4, 1994 to Anthony and Alison (Hirsch) Gordon in Durham, NC. His family relocated to Stevens Point, where he grew up.  Drew attended McDill Elementary, Ben Franklin Junior High, and graduated from SPASH. He went on to attended UWSP and received a BA in Political Science.

After graduating college, Drew moved to Grand Junction, CO and worked at Riverside Educational Center as a grant writer and an advocate for at-risk students. He returned to Stevens Point, WI to be closer to his family.

Drew was a free spirit and had a humble, yet competitive nature. He was a member of the debate team during high school and returned following graduation to help coach the team to a state championship. He enjoyed helping others, listening to music, skateboarding, and sticking it to the man. Drew also enjoyed the solidarity of taking walks and embracing nature.  He was a beautiful, caring person who did his best to help those marginalized by society. His bright eyes and smile never failed to make those around him feel love and warmth.

Survivors include his parents, Anthony and Alison Gordon; brothers, Grayson and Cooper Gordon; uncles, Arthur, Dale, Vincent, Edward, and Chuck; aunts, Christine, Karyn, Kathy, Jeannine, Vicki, Kris, Tricia, and Lisa; numerous cousins, extended famil and friends, and his cats Lucy, Lilo and Mr. B.

A service to commemorate his life will be held 7:00 p.m., Monday, May 6, 2019 at Boston Funeral Home in Stevens Point, WI with Rev. David Ficken presiding. A Visitation and time of sharing memories will precede on Monday from 6:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
