UPDATE: Arrests made in Tuesday’s stabbing incident

STEVENS POINT — Two have been arrested in relation to Tuesday’s stabbing incident.
On April 30, at approximately 11:52 a.m., authorities were called to 700 Portage Street for a call of a domestic disturbance. Initial information indicated that a person had been stabbed.
According to police, upon arrival officers made contact with a 19-year-old man, now identified as Emeryck Zakrzewski, who had a significant knife wound to his arm. He was transported by ambulance to St. Michael’s Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Also involved in the stabbing was a 20-year-old woman, now identified as Alyona Walters, who had left the residence prior to officer’s arrival. She was picked up a short time later by Plover police at a residence on Bel Aire Avenue, and soon transported to St. Michael’s Hospital with contusions on her head as a result of the altercation.
According to police, both subjects involved in this disturbance reside together at the Portage Street residence. A fight had stemmed from their electricity being shut off at the residence.
Both will be charged for disorderly conduct and domestic enhancer. They were both released after bond was posted.
