PLOVER — Monk’s Bar & Grill, located in the Crossroad Commons, will look to open their doors on Tuesday, June 11 according to a Monk’s representative.
Originally confirmed for May 1, the opening was pushed back to a June date. Replacing Golden Corral, Monk’s has multiple locations across the state. Originally opened in the Wisconsin Dells in 1947 by Gustave “Monk” Heineke, they have since expanded, hosting locations in Eau Claire, Sun Prairie, Verona, and Middleton.
Located at 1400 Commerce Place, this will be the first Monk’s with a four-season room, as well as a fireplace inside of the establishment. They will serve their well-known “Monkburgers”, as well as sandwiches, wraps, salads, and appetizers. In addition, there will be seasonal chef specialty menus.
Monk’s Plover location is currently hiring for all positions.
