STEVENS POINT — City officials have announced a meeting regarding community input on the future of the Downtown corridor.
A city press release states the following:
“After soliciting community input during a visioning and listening session on January 17, the Redevelopment Authority and our consultants have developed a series of draft recommendations and design concepts based on detailed study of each Target Area. This open house will focus specifically on the Stevens Point Downtown area, providing an opportunity for the public to participate in the ongoing Asset and Opportunity Analysis, ask questions, and get the latest on the larger planning
process.
After a brief presentation of the draft concepts at 7pm, the rest of the open house will be held in an informal “drop-in” format allowing participants to provide additional written and verbal feedback directly to City and consultant staff on the draft recommendations at a series of stations. All opinions are welcomed and will be respected.
Please come be a part of the conversation. Light refreshments and great company will be provided. For more information or special accommodations, please contact Michael Ostrowski at 715-346-1568 or [email protected], or visit https://stevenspoint.com/1263/Targeted-Area-Master-
Plans.
If you’re unable to attend the meeting, check StevensPoint.com after May 23rd for all of the information presented at the meeting and feedback forms that can be completed and submitted from home.”
