WIAA Softball Division 2-5 Brackets released

The WIAA has released the brackets for the 2019 Girls Softball Tournament for Divisions 2 through 5.
The Amherst High School softball team (14-4) received the third seed in its WIAA Division 3 Regional and an opening-round bye, as the Falcons will host sixth-seeded Wittenberg-Birnamwood in a Regional Semifinal at 4:45 p.m. Tuesday, May 21.
The winner will take on either second-seeded Oconto, seventh-seeded Bonduel or 10th-seeded Menominee Indian in a Regional Final Thursday, May 23.
In Division 4, the fifth-ranked Pacelli Catholic High School softball team received a top seed and a first-round bye, while the Rosholt High School softball team received a ninth seed.
Rosholt (6-15) is set to play at eighth-seeded Pardeeville in a Regional Quarterfinal at 5 p.m. Thursday, May 16, with the winner to play at Pacelli (14-4) in a Regional Semifinal Tuesday, May 21. The winner of the Regional Semifinal will face either fourth-seeded Auburndale or fifth-seeded Markesan in the Regional Final Thursday, May 23.
Ranked ninth in Division 5 in the WisSports.net Coaches Poll, the Almond-Bancroft High School softball team (12-2) received the top seed in its Division 5 bracket and an opening-round bye, and will host the winner of eighth-seeded Wausau Newman and ninth-seeded Marion in a Regional Semifinal Tuesday, May 21. The winner of that will square off with either fourth-seeded Marshfield Columbus Catholic or fifth-seeded Northland Lutheran/Wisconsin Valley Lutheran in a Regional Final Thursday, May 23.
WIAA Division 1 Playoff Brackets for the seventh-ranked Stevens Point Area Senior High School (SPASH) softball team (15-6) are expected to be released later this week, with the Regional Semifinals Tuesday, May 21, and the Regional Finals Thursday, May 23.
