Sophomore Jake Bourget and junior Jake Lepak from the Stevens Point Area Senior High School (SPASH) boys track team, after the Wisconsin Valley Conference (WVC) Outdoor Meet at D.C. Everest Tuesday, May 14.
Bourget pulled ahead of senior teammate Alex Strojny on the final lap to win the 3,200 run, while Lepak won the 1,600 run in 4:31.59 to finish just ahead of senior teammates Chad Franz (4:32.00) and Blake Milkowski (4:32.06). Lepak also came in fourth in the 800 run, while the SPASH Boys captured the WVC Title.
