STEVENS POINT — On Saturday, July 13th, the Stevens Point Area YMCA will host the 5th annual Point Duathlon, presented by Cellcom, to benefit the YMCA’s chronic disease prevention and wellness programming. Join the YMCA in supporting a terrific cause.
“Whether you’re a seasoned athlete or a beginner, the Point Duathlon is a great opportunity to support those getting their health back on track,” said Lindsay Kruzitski, Health & Wellness Director for the Stevens Point Area YMCA.
This race consists of a 2-mile run through the UW-Stevens Point campus, a 16.5-mile bike on scenic country roads north of Stevens Point, followed by another 2-mile run through beautiful Schmeeckle Reserve. Test your athleticism individually or as part of a relay team. The race begins at the Allen Center on the UW-Stevens Point campus. Register at https://www.signmeup.com/reg/form/129369. Early registration with reduced fees ends at midnight on Monday, July 1.
Volunteers are needed for race support and receive a free event shirt. For further details, such as course route and fees, visit www.spymca.org/point-duathlon-2019 or contact Lindsay Kruzitski – Health & Wellness Director at (715) 952-9360, Email: [email protected]
