SPASH softball assistant coach Todd VanderLoop and head coach Tom Drohner, after the Panthers celebrated their 20th consecutive Wisconsin Valley Conference (WVC) Title at Wausau East Thursday, May 16.

Drohner took over the SPASH softball program 1998, as VanderLoop joined him as an assistant coach. The Panthers have won the WVC Title in 21 of their 22 seasons, including the last 20 in a row, which was capped with a 10-0 win at Wausau East in this season’s conference finale Thursday.

Earlier this season, Drohner and VanderLoop recorded their 500th career win, and have guided the SPASH softball team to eight WIAA Division 1 State Titles.
