WIAA Baseball Division 2-4 brackets released

Brackets for Divisions 2 through 4 have been released for the 2019 WIAA Baseball Tournament.

In Division 3, Amherst High School received a second seed in its Regional, and Pacelli Catholic High School received a third seed in its Regional, as both are in Sectional #2 and could potentially meet up in the Sectional Semifinals.

Amherst will open at home against seventh-seeded Weyauwega-Fremont in a Regional Quarterfinal at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, May 23, with the winner to take on either third-seeded Wittenberg-Birnamwood or sixth-seeded Omro in a Regional Semifinal at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 28.

Pacelli will face sixth-seeded Tomahawk in a Regional Quarterfinal at Bukolt Park at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, May 23, with the winner to square off with either second-seeded Stratford or seventh-seeded Nekoosa in a Regional Semifinal Tuesday, May 28.

In Division 4, Rosholt and Almond-Bancroft each received a second seed in their Regionals, as both are in separate Sectionals, with Rosholt in Sectional # 2 and Almond-Bancroft in Sectional #4, and wouldn’t meet up until the State Championship Game.

Rosholt will open at home against seventh-seeded Northland Lutheran/Wisconsin Valley Lutheran in a Regional Quarterfinal at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, May 23, with the winner to play either third-seeded Edgar or sixth-seeded Tigerton in the Regional Semifinal Tuesday, May 28.

Almond will host seventh-seeded Tri-County in a Regional Quarterfinal at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, May 23, with the winner to play either third-seeded Wild Rose or sixth-seeded Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah in a Regional Semifinal Tuesday, May 28.

Playoff brackets for Division 1 have yet to be announced for Stevens Point Area Senior High School (SPASH), as the Regional Semifinals are set for Tuesday, May 28, with the Regional Finals Thursday, May 30.
