Highlights and postgame interview with sophomore first baseman Chloee Dernbach and junior catcher Makayla Perzinski from the ninth-ranked Almond-Bancroft High School softball team, following their WIAA Division 5 Regional Semifinal against Wausau Newman Catholic at Almond Tuesday, May 21.
Dernbach was 3-for-4 with a double, home run and three RBI, while Perzinski had a home run and two RBI, as the top-seeded Eagles (13-5) fell 10-9 to eighth-seeded Newman (4-8).
