Water Color Paintings by Susan Speckman-Heil

Susan Speckman-Heil displays 19 works in watercolor at Lincoln Center Gallery during the month of June.

The artist studied art at UWSP and has been painting in watercolor for about 25 years.  She enjoys the unpredictability of how the paint moves on the paper and explains, “I can lose myself in the creative process for hours.” Ms. Speckman-Heil has shown her work at Lincoln Center, Ruth Gilfrey Center, Riverfront Arts Center and the Holly Shoppe.

Susan loves volunteering at the Riverfront Arts Center. She and her husband, Ed, live in Plover and enjoy flower gardening.

Old Car and Tractor Toys from the Collection of Milo Harpstead

Junes’s Gallery case display will feature old car and tractor toys from the collection of Milo Harpstead.  The toys were Christmas gifts received by Mr. Harpstead and his brother, and represent vehicles from the late 1920’s through the early 1940’s.  Milo has restored some of them and repainted most of them. The collector restores actual antique cars and tractors.
