PORTAGE COUNTY– Portage County residents and businesses can help the county update its emergency preparedness plans by participating in a voluntary online questionnaire. Feedback from the confidential 10-minute survey will enable the Portage County Emergency Management Division to better serve residents and businesses before, during, and after an emergency or disaster.

Some sample questions are:

• Please indicate where you go to obtain emergency and disaster preparedness related information.
• What hazards do you believe may threaten your household and/or place of business?
• What might prevent you from leaving your place of residence if there was an evacuation request?
• In an evacuation, would you or anyone in your household require special assistance?
