UPDATE: Suspected Pizza Ranch robber turns himself in

STEVENS POINT — After a warrant was out for his arrest for the armed robbery of a Pizza Ranch in April , 21-year-old Semaj Amaru Gwyn has turned himself in.
According to police reports, at approximately 9PM on April 10, Plover Police was notified of an armed robbery at the Pizza Ranch located at 1300 Commerce Place at the Crossroads Commons in the Village of Plover. Witnesses indicated that a masked man entered the restaurant and demanded money, while threatening an employee with a gun.
Due for his preliminary hearing on Monday, June 17, Gwyn failed to show for his court appearance, leading to the issuance of a bench warrant.
Gwyn is charged with Theft and Armed Robbery, and faces up to 40 years imprisonment.
