STEVENS POINT — Hometown Pharmacy has announced that they will be open to the public next week.
According to a message published on their social media page, the Stevens Point location will open on Monday, June 23. The pharmacy will have shorter hours while finishing up insurance contracts.
Temporary hours will be:
Monday and Wednesday: 1-6
Tuesday, Thursday and Friday: 9-2
“A big thing that separates us from others is that we may be the only pharmacy actively working to help reduce the need for prescriptions,” said Hometown Pharmacy Manager Tessa Sain in a prior interview with the Gazette. “It is our goal to try and help people get healthy and stay healthy, so that they hopefully won’t need prescriptions (but if they do, we’ll be there).
Hometown Pharmacy will take over the former Robin’s Nest location downtown, located at 1129 Main St. To visit their Facebook page, check out https://www.facebook.com/StevensPointHometownPharmacy
