SPASH’s Franz named to Baseball All-State Team

Stevens Point Area Senior High School (SPASH) senior center fielder Brady Franz was named to the Wisconsin Baseball Coaches Association (WBCA) All-State Team.

Franz was named Honorable Mention All-State, after he hit .385 this season this season for the Panthers, who finished 20-5 after a loss to Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln in the WIAA Division 1 Sectional Semifinals.

Franz was also a Unanimous First Team All-Wisconsin Valley Conference (WVC) selection this season SPASH, after led the WVC with a .643 on-base percentage and was third in the conference with a .435 batting average, as he drew 13 walks and only struck out once to help the Panthers win the Conference Title with an 11-1 record.
