Horseshoe Club will host Riverfront Rendezvous Tournament
Over Fourth of July Weekend, the Stevens Point Horseshoe Club will also host its fourth annual Riverfront Rendezvous Horseshoe Tournament at Mead Park, 1201 W. Whitney Street in Stevens Point.
The singles tournament will be held Saturday, July 6, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Cost is $10.
The doubles tournament will take place Sunday, July 7. Cost is $20.
Plaques and cash awards will be presented. The format will be 6- or 8-man round robin classes, with 40 shoe games.
Send information and entry fee to: Fred Lane, 541 2nd St. North, Stevens Point, WI, 54481. Include a ringer percentage for entrant, to pair against pitchers of the same skill level. If ringer percentage is unknown, pitch 100 horseshoes and count the number of ringers.
