ALMOND — Community members came together to honor a long-time Almond official on Saturday, June 22.

Almond Maintenance Supervisor Dan Folan was honored for his 38 years of service to the Almond community in a retirement party. For the event, the Village changed the name of Park Street to “Dan’s Drive” in commemoration of Folan’s service.

A reception followed at the Almond Fire Station. Folan is considered a mainstay to the community, which he also serves as a fireman, first responder and Almond Fire Chief.
