STEVENS POINT – Team Schierl Companies hosted their annual charity Golf Classic on June 19th at the Stevens Point Country Club.  The sold-out event raised over $107,000 with the help of golfers, sponsorships and former Green Bay Packers players Scott Tolzien, Ron Hallstrom and Bill Ferrario.

Through a fantastic day of golf, activities on the course, raffles, silent & live auctions, and company sponsorships, funds were raised for numerous Central Wisconsin charities.  2019 recipients include Jeremiah’s Crossing, the Marshfield Community Athletic Facility, Stevens Point Softball Association, and Folds of Honor. Corporate sponsors assisting the event included Great Lakes Coca-Cola, Miller Lite, and Midwest Communications radio stations 101.9 WDEZ, 95.5 WIFC and 99.9 WSAU.

“The grand total raised for Central Wisconsin charities by this year’s golf outing was over $107,000.  This wouldn’t be possible without the generosity and support of corporate sponsors, golfers, Team Schierl Associates and volunteers.  The community spirit felt during an event like this is something we are very grateful for.” stated Fritz Schierl, Co-CEO.

Team Schierl Companies was established in 1956 by John (Butch) Schierl in the home heating oil business. TSC is currently owned and operated by John’s three sons, Tim, Fritz, and Bill Schierl.
