The Stevens Point Horseshoe Club hosted its fourth annual Riverfront Rendezvous Horseshoe Tournament at Mead Park Saturday and Sunday, July 6 and 7.

Singles Champions were:

Class A: Monalisa Lane (49.3 ringer%)

Class B: Jim Menzel (33.6 %)

Class C: Ron Studinski (26.1%)

Class D: Justin Tyjeski (19.5%)

Doubles Champions were:

Doubles Class A: Randy Rein/Kelly Thayer

Doubles Class B: James Wicklander/Jim Wicklander

“The weather turned out to be perfect,” said Stevens Point Horseshoe Club president Fred Lane. “Lots of friendships and memories were made.

“One special moment was between father and son, Jim and James Wicklander, winning the Class B Doubles Tournament,” he said. “What better memory can you have than winning a tournament with your dad!”
